* companionship
* unconditional love
* keep their opinions to themselves
* greet you at the door with a wagging tail
* easy to please
* look at you with their cute faces
* don't care if you put on some weight
* eat the food crumbs that fall on the floor
* faithful buddy
* furry hot water bottle on cold nights
* can keep a secret
* easy to feed as they aren't fussy
* don't talk back
* watchdog - protectors
* and we love them

  1. Love it! Though I'm not too sure about the not being a fussy eater and not talking back.... Our little dachshund sure is opinionated and thinks she's a little person.... great personality and excellent company though!!!

  2. My dog will eat (or should I say inhale) whatever is given to her. I don't feed her people food but for baby carrots which the vet said are good treats. Her vanilla ice cream was a first last Sat. but I had to treat her since we'd missed the dachshund rally.

  4. Our Rosie is the most sensitive animal imaginable...she would do anything to please us. She just aches to figure out what that is.

  6. Are never angry at you. You can yell yourself blue for them to get out of the kitchen and they just will not hold a grudge, even only minutes later.
