I woke up this morning to sleet and it's Nov. 8. There was about 1/4 coating the ground and car. On the ground, it mostly was not still white but you could see it. Fortunately it turned to big, wet raindrops for my commute to work. By early afternoon, the parking lot was starting to dry.
Wonder what we are in for this winter season here in CT?

We had some very pretty snow for about half an hour this morning. It turned to 1/2" of slush on the car and driveway by the time we were ready to go to work.
ReplyDeleteI have heard that Farmers Almanac predicted very cold and snowy winter. But, I suspect, that it always does.

I've heard the same from people about the Farmer's Almanac. I am thinking that we had an unusually hot summr so if it continues in the same vein, then we're in for a cold, snowy winter. It's a good thing I like winter.
ReplyDeleteOur weather here yesterday was absolutely lovely - not that I got to enjoy it much, but on the walk from my building to the car, I thought "How perfect!"
